Crazy Busy

I'm still here. Things are going fine, just crazy busy.

Last weekend we went to a Third Day concert (more about that later). Then we went to my baby brother's 25th birthday party.

Today we are off to Georgia for a wedding. I am looking forward to seeing lots of childhood friends there.

Next week we will be camping at my parent's house for Thanksgiving. Yardboy and I are really excited and so is Tater. This is her first camping trip. This will be pretty primitive camping, complete with a latrine! Woo hoo.

We are going to have Thanksgiving dinner out in the woods. I'm not sure how many people will be there, but I know it will be a bunch. My good friend W and her family are coming. I think it will be so much fun. Should we wear Pilgrim hats?

Sounds like fun! I love to camp. However, we don't (ever) camp in November.

A few years ago we were helping some friends take down some trees around their house. We borrowed a turkey deep fryer (propane) and had deep fried turkey for our dinner.

Is that how you are fixin' your turkey this year? It is really good that way - just keep the little ones away from the fryer.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Yes, deep fried in peanut oil and it sooooo good. My dad and brother will be doing the turkey. No kids in sight. :)

We are a little nervous about camping. Is 40 degrees too cold for the kids? They will be in bed with us with loads of blankets and clothes. People around here get pretty dramatic about cool weather.
